I’m excited to share a new video lesson with you! Let’s approach one of my favorite subjects for this paint along—a moody late-day sunset over the harbor. We’ll explore this scene in a loose, expressive fashion with bold strokes and fresh color.

For this lesson, our intention is not to polish off the scene with subtle realism. Instead, we’ll suggest the mood of the moment through expressive strokes of pigment and inviting transitions of color and value.
